Prague at last!
Hey everyone, this is going to be a brief one as we are so desperate to go to bed after 15 loong hours on a bus followed by none-stop touring the beautiful city of Prague.
We left Lyon at 21:30 and arrived fifteen and a half hours later the next day in Prague. We did manage to get some sleep in, though I will probably have to write a 'We tried it for you' on the art of sleeping well whilst sitting vertically... it is a true skill, let me tell you... Thankfully we came out alive and unscathed.
Mariana and her lovely mum picked us up and drove us directly to their appartment so that we could chuck our stuff and start our first day of our travels immediately. We couldn't have asked for better weather, sun shining with a light breeze. It wasn't ridiculously packed either as our guidebooks had warned us. In the space of merely eight hours, we visited the Charles bridge, astronomic clock tour, Petrin tour (Eiffel Tour of Prague, Antoine insisted), National Muzeum, old town square, grapes field, Mala Strana hill, and tons of milling around the mysterious cobbled streets of the city center. Even made time for an afternoon Czech beer called Pilsner.
We ended the day with some good old fashioned Czech food consisting of dumplings of the potato and bread kind, with roast pork and goulash. We were stuffed by the end and it only cost us a mere 330kc (7 euros each) Bargain!
Okay, Antoine just commented that my 'brief' article may not be so brief afterall. Must snooze off now.

Nous sommes donc bien arrives a Prague, la premiere destination de notre tour du monde. Super accueil de Mariana (une amie de Jen) et sa mere qui sont venues nous chercher en voiture. Nous avons pu poser nos sacs chez elles, et c est d ailleurs a cette meme adresse que nous allons passer la nuit.
Nous avons passe une excellente journee de visite, ou la fatigue du voyage en car (+ de 15 de voyage) ne s est pas trop fait ressentir
Demain, nous prenons un autre car, direction la Slovaquie ou nous avons prevu d aller faire quelques randonnees avec bivouac dans des gites en plein milieu de la foret. Je rassure la famille, tout est indique dans le Lonely Planet, ce n est pas un plan de derriere les fagots...
Plus de nouvelles a venir donc, avec des photos des que possible !
